Alvas Kannada medium high school, regarded as the number one school by the state department of education, has recorded cent per cent results for the eighth time in succession. Among 132 students who appeared for SSLC examination, Laxmi Ishwara Nagathane among them has secured 621 marks, which is an excellent achievement, said Dr M Mohan Alva, chairman, Alva’s Education Foundation.
Thirty-five students among those who appeared for the examination have secured more than 600 marks each, which is also another milestone for the schhol. As many as 96 students have passed with distinction securing more than 85% marks, 32 students have secured first class and four students have passed in second class. Fourteen students have received 100 marks in Kannada, 36 students in Hindi, five in Sanskrit, four in Mathematics, four in Science and nine students in Social Science. With this, 72 students have secured 100 marks each which is also another record.
